Terms & Conditions

By using VendSpace or completing a vendor registration, you agree to these terms and the policies incorporated into them.

Last updated: 14 July 2026

1. Platform purpose

VendSpace is the official digital platform used to register vendors, display stand availability, receive stand selections, process payments, and support event operations for KNUST SRC Week 2026.

2. Accounts and information

  • You must provide complete and accurate information and keep account credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless you promptly report unauthorised use.
  • The organisers may verify information and request supporting documents before or after booking.

3. Booking and payment

  • Stand availability may change until payment is successfully verified.
  • A temporary reservation may expire if payment is not completed within the stated period.
  • The amount payable includes the displayed stand price and applicable taxes or charges.
  • Payment confirmation is subject to verification through the payment provider and VendSpace records.

4. Stand rights and restrictions

A confirmed booking grants a limited, temporary permission to use the assigned stand for the event. It does not transfer ownership, tenancy, or any permanent interest in the venue.

  • Bookings may not be resold, transferred, shared, or sublet without written approval.
  • The vendor must comply with the Vendor Rules and all lawful event, venue, security, and safety instructions.

5. Changes, suspension, and cancellation

The organisers may reasonably alter the event timetable, programme, access arrangements, stand layout, or assigned position for safety, security, infrastructure, sponsorship, crowd management, legal compliance, or operational necessity.

  • Access may be suspended or cancelled for non-payment, fraud, unsafe conduct, policy breach, or unlawful activity.
  • Refund eligibility is governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Liability

Vendors participate at their own commercial risk and remain responsible for stock, equipment, staff, licences, insurance, taxes, customer claims, and business operations. To the extent permitted by law, the organisers are not responsible for indirect losses, lost profits, theft, damage, interruption, or outcomes outside their reasonable control.

  • Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Ghanaian law.
  • The vendor is responsible for loss or damage caused by the vendor's acts, omissions, staff, contractors, products, or equipment.

7. Intellectual property and communications

  • VendSpace branding, software, content, and event materials may not be copied or misused without permission.
  • You grant the organisers permission to use submitted business names, logos, and stand information for event administration and promotion.
  • Operational notices may be sent by email, SMS, phone, WhatsApp, or through the platform using the contact details supplied.

8. Force majeure

The organisers are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, public-health restrictions, civil disturbance, government action, utility failure, venue closure, or security emergencies. The organisers will communicate practical next steps where possible.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana. Parties should first attempt to resolve disputes through the official support and event-management process before pursuing any remedy available under Ghanaian law.
